It all began during my childhood, shaped by the magical environment of my grandparents’ home and the stories they shared. Early mornings on the west coast of Sweden, my grandmother and I would embark on treasure hunts as the sun rose and the air warmed. She nurtured my love for sparkle, jewelry, elegant packaging and artful table settings. Their home, always warm and inviting, continues to teach me that even the smallest details can add a touch of magic.

My grandfather, with his entrepreneurial spirit and artistic heart, has always inspired me to follow my passions. His guidance continues to ignite my creativity, whether through his lessons in painting or his unwavering belief in pursuing what I love. Together, their adventurous spirits - from living in New York with two small children in the 60s to snorkeling in Australia and exploring the lavender fields of Provence - instilled in me a sense of positivity, bravery and the importance of embracing life’s opportunities.

BARLEI is a tribute to these influences - a blend of my grandparents’ love for beauty, art and meaningful living. It embodies the sparkles of life, the courage to follow your dreams and the joy of adding that extra touch to the everyday.
